Scale/Feather/etc Appearance: Delmont's scales are fishlike in appearance, mud brown in color, with plates running up his legs and alongside his spikes.

Appearance (give at least a 5 sentence paragraph!):

Delmont is quite slender for an EarthWing, with fish-like scales on his body. The small scales change to plates that are pressed into the skin beneath the spikes dashing along his spine, as well as his lower shoulder and top of his upper legs. They border his face, running under his chin and covering the tips of his upper head.

Delmont has dry, leaf-green spikes that fade back to mud brown the closer they get to the rest of his body. They start at where the fork in the plates divides in two and fades into his horns begins, and end at the end of his powerful, whip-like tail.

He has two small horns sprouting from behind his forehead, just where any indication of his eyes disappears into the back of his head.

Delmont's wings have two claws on both of them, enabling him climbing surfaces with ease. He has powerful legs and wings they propel him through the air.

He has three grey claws on each leg, the front legs slightly shorter then the back, enabling him to stand on two legs if he wishes to. His front claws are able to draw, write, etc and basically work as the dragon's version of fingers.

His wings fade to a deep green towards the back, repeating the same transition of color on the underside of his wing.

Delmont's eyes are the brightest part of his body. A deep forest green.


Personality:

Likes: Mountain climbing, sitting and resting on mountains, hiding in mountains, anything to do with mountains basically XD Looking at the stars

Dislikes: Socializing, attending events, having to attend events, parties, whatever

Delmont is quite a lonely dragon, spending most of his time in solitude. He is extremely independent and vigilant, and will not hesitate to attack on sight. He is quite seclusive, preferring to hide in the mountains from others. He has a bad temper, it won't take much to make him angry.

If you manage to get close enough without angering him, and you somehow manage to gain his trust, you gain a loyal friend willing to sacrifice the world for you. Delmont will always have a smile or a kind word for a friend.

Delmont is actually quite shy, which is why he always tries to hide. He can be quite timid upon first meeting, eventually becoming bolder with you with time. He doesn't speak much at first, but when he does, he speaks with a heavy Irish accent.

Delmont is quite self conscious, which is why, if and when he ever goes to an event, he will wear paint.

History (At least a 5 sentence paragraph!):

Ever since he was little, Delmont was driven away from society due to his bad temper and shyness. His parents did not favor him at all, because he had a simple appearance that did not flatter his family's "vision of beauty and perfection." The other hatchlings teased him for his simple color, and called him, "Muddy."

Eventually, when he was old enough, Delmont fled his family, soon finding Elesmera and eventually, the EarthScale tribe. He joined up out of convenience of food and shelter, even though he sleeps most of the time near the border, and that's where he is now.


Abilities:

Venom - Delmont has a venomous bite that can stop bloodflow in a certain area and make a limb or certain area go numb, depending on what blood vessels he hits. When he bites, it works much like a snake's bit, transferred from his fangs to his victim's flesh.

The side effects, apart from extreme pain in the affected area, include,

Numbness - The area will go numb

Stiffness - That area will go stiff.

Disorientation and Blurred Vision - The venom will block blood flow and try to reach the victim's brain, which causes temporary blurred vision.

Headaches - Small throbbing in the forehead is common.


Earth Spikes - When Delmont slams his tail, legs or wings into the ground or a wall, it will cause spikes to shoot up from the surface. The spikes will continue in a certain direction until they hit Delmont's target, which he communicates to the earth by using magic.

As the spikes show up, they can differ in size, from one foot to three foot, sometimes five foot when they hit their target.
